Meet the Legacy Center Staff
Each member of the Legacy Center of Louisiana team has a diverse portfolio of legal knowledge and brings a unique and expansive business perspective to our firm. Though we have varied professional
backgrounds and personal interests, everyone at Legacy Center of Louisiana has one thing in common:
the desire to help people. We are dedicated to putting people at ease by helping
them plan their life and build a lasting legacy.
Linda S. Melancon
Attorney at Law
Linda S. Melancon, the owner of The Legacy Center of Louisiana, L.L.C., has a practice devoted to helping Louisiana families leave a lasting legacy.
She does this through her work in the areas of Elder Law, Medicaid planning, VA benefits planning, estate planning, successions, probate, and business planning.
As an accomplished speaker, Ms. Melancon also regularly presents educational seminars for the public, as well as private groups, on the importance of proper estate planning.
Ms. Melancon graduated magna cum laude from Mercer University with a double major in business administration and history and then attended Louisiana State University Law School, where she graduated with her Juris Doctor degree in 1997.
After graduating from law school, Ms.Melancon began practicing in Ascension Parish, Louisiana.
While in law school, Ms. Melancon received the Order of the Coif award for graduating in the top 10% of her class, was a member of the Louisiana Law Review and received the CALI award for attaining the highest grade in her Business Associations class. Ms. Melancon is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and a member of the Trusts, Estate, Probate and Immovable Law Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
Also very active in the community, Ms. Melancon is the Projects Chair of the East Ascension Notary Club, the missions Team Leader at NewSong Methodist Church, a member of the LA Bar Association Elder Law Task Force, and the President of the Senior Care Planning Council of Greater Baton Rouge.
Ms. Melancon is married and has three children and four grandchildren.
Kaitlin R. Waddill
Client Services Coordinator
Katie currently graduated from Louisiana State University with a General Studies Degree concentrating in Business, Entrepreneurship, and Psychology. She currently serves as the Client Services Coordinator aiding in client relations, social media, website and blog maintenance, seminars, and much more. When she is not working, she loves hanging out with her friends and family, going to concerts, and cooking.

Angie Reed
Business Manager
Angie Reed is from Prairieville, LA. She has a Healthcare Administration degree from the University of Texas. Angie has 10+ years experience as a Management Team Leader, as well as Marketing, Quality and Credentialing Management, and Business Development. As Business manager, she is responsible for ensuring all functions of the law firm that do not involve the production of legal work are carried out in a smooth and efficient manner. She also handles the implementation of business expansion, marketing, operations, personnel, and financial functions of the firm. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and is an active member of the New Song Church Mission’s team.
Siobhan S. Leger
Attorney
Siobhan Sullivan Leger is a native of Walnut Creek, California. In 2008, she graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in English. In May of 2011, she graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, earning a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law. She graduated with honors for pro bono service. In October of 2011, Siobhan was admitted to practice in Louisiana. She is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Baton Rouge Bar Association. As an attorney for the Legacy Center, Siobhan works in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration.
